Training Courses

Beginners

Beginners: An introduction to scentwork. Focusing on scent recognition, scent indication and search techniques. Working with a variety of objects and in different environments.

Progression

 Progression: Adding more odours to your dog's scent library. Introducing more complex searches and building focus and motivation.

Workshops

Workshops: Small group workshops covering a variety of topics through positive and fun activities.

Trials

Trial: Friendly competitions run in a relaxed atmosphere competing again fellow sniffers in several of our different woodland scentwork areas.

Scent Club: Group invite only.  Fun sessions every other Sunday and Wednesday morning.

What training methods do you use?
We use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure your dog learns in a fun and engaging way.

How long are the training sessions?

Training sessions typically last between 45 minutes to an hour.

Are lessons 1:1 or in groups?

We offer both 1:1 lessons and group classes. All group classes are kept to small numbers and carefully managed to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for you and your dog. 1:1 can be run at your home or in a place to best suit your dog's indiviual needs (all training courses run within the Falmouth region).

What type of dogs can take part?

The beauty of scent work is that it is availabe to ALL, irrespective of age, gender, breed or temperament.

Where are lessons located?

Training is carried out at our private field near Falmouth. The location offers stunning views and incorporates woodland searches along with a variety of  article searches on our spacious field.
